Joboshare MP4 Converter 2.8

Joboshare MP4 Converter is a multi-format video converter. Although it says "MP4" on the application's title, Joboshare MP4 Converter can convert most video files into a variety of different formats, both audio and video. It also comes with lots of conversion profiles, which are supposed to be optimized conversion settings for specific devices. If you look at the bottom of the screen, where the conversion settings are, you will notice that there are conversion profiles for common audio and video formats, iPod, iPhone, iPad, AppleTV, PSP, PS3, and Mobile phones.

In terms of design, this application packs a video player for quick video preview, a settings pane where you can change the settings of conversion profiles and save them for future use, and a huge space for your conversion queue. All the files that you add will go to that list. I like the fact that you can assign different conversion profiles for different files.

In my testing, I used both an FLV file and an AVI file encoded using DivX and I converted them to MPEG-4 and WMV, respectively. Both files converted in a very short time and they played fine on VLC.
